Funny story about that conference...I was sitting with three other friends...well, toward the end of the service, the friend to my left took off her wedding rings and handed them to a second friend. Apparently the second friend was rather shocked, and thought that friend #1 was under conviction over her jewelry and was removing her rings as a result. She was rather relieved (and amused at her own thoughts) when friend #1 reached down, pulled out a little bottle of lotion, put some on her hands, and then offered to share with the rest of us. 
Incidentally, RR's sermon that afternoon was about jewelry (and other decorations). |
