Study our form of government. The judicial branch as opposed to the executive and legislative branches is where the battle will be fought. The next president will possibly have the ability to appoint one or two supreme court justices. This is where conservative ideals must prevail. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Okay, I guess I'll just have to "pony up". (whatever that means)
We have hashed this out before, but we did successfully manage to have Republican Presidents select 7 of the 9 current Justices. I personally am not convinced that McCain is going to select any better.
This was not just directed at you. My frustration is that there is lip service that is an effective tool to guarantee support. I am firmly pro-life so what I would like to hear is.
Question: So I understand that you are pro-life.
Candidate: Yes I am
Question: So what exactly are you going to do to end the hundreds of thousands of abortions.
Candidate: (A direct response and some course of action)
And at the end of the day, if the President is not able to substancially affect abortions in our country...we need to quit making it a "free-pass, I'll support you" issue.
