Berchett Howard was known by many in Oneness Pentecost. He had fellowship meetings in his church in New Castle, IN that were attended by folks from several organizations. Several years ago (I think he was in his nineties then) he was instrumental in establishing an organization called the United Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. They have several churches in Indiana plus a few more in other states. They have a monthly fellowship meeting (I keep thinking I'll get to one but never have) and the New Casltle, IN church is one of the places they hold it. I think Bishop Howard was around 100 years old when he died.
Bro. James Thompson lived in Cincinnati and pastored a church in Carrollton, Ky. I've preached for him a few times back in the nineteen seventies. We even brought a busload from our ALJC church there once for a meeting when I preached. There were three churches in Carrollton, KY at that time. One was UPC pastored by Bro. Cecil Ellison. Not very far East of that was the one pastored by Bro. Thompson, and west of the UPC church outside of town was the ALJC church. Bro. Thompson's church was a split off Bro. Ellison's church. It is now pastored by Bro. Miller who is independent as far as I know and fellowships with the AMF. The one west of town was pastored by Wade Frost at one time (I think). The UPC church there has since split at least one more time with the classic Pentecostal action of one group locking the doors and changing the locks and the other group tearing off the door to hold services.
