You have shut your metabolism down by starving yourself and that causes excess insulin which results in fat (the dangerous kind) collecting around your midsection, hips and thighs.

While I understand fairly well the body's ability to slow down it's metabolism still if one burns
more calories then one takes in.....weight has got to go somewhere.....
