The root of the problem is that the "pastor" concept is so ingrained in the modern church model that people don't even question the fact that this may be fundementally flawed system as it's abiblical and it can be interpreted as one man master over another. Therefore, you are seen as being outside God's order if you don't see a man as your master but as someone who's faith you follow when you see what the fruit is in their life.

There are governments in the church but what that means biblically seems to be far removed to what we see today.

Also, people read scripture with certain ingrained perspectives and don't give any leeway to other interpretations so their way is right and anyone who thinks differently is wrong.

And lastly, anyone who thinks a little differently or asks too many questions is pounced on as being disrespectful and a fool by some. By others these same people as seen as being like the Bereans and with fear and trembling working out their own salvation.
I had tried to point out earlier that it is pretty much impossible to read and interpret the Bible without Bias. We just can't do it. We are a product of our environment, our culture, our traditions and our training.

The rest of what you have said, is pretty much the way I understand it, and you are right, it is not well accepted!
