Re: Monopoly on Apostolic Identity is no more ....

I love the UPCI and the people in the UPCI, but I honestly have to say that I think they are frozen in time. It appears, and I know there are many in the UPCI that this doesn’t describe, but it appears that they are radically focused on their definition of external holiness which, in my opinion, is based on a 1950’s dress standard and a misinterpretation of I Corinthians 11 regarding hair. Their standard against television is laughable in this age of the internet and for the sheer fact that most members of the UPCI have televisions, though they call them “monitors”, or stream programming over the internet.

I love the UPCI, but I firmly believe she needs “reformation” and then she will see a “revival”. The old wineskin can’t hold what God wants to do in this last hour.

I believe what makes us "Apostolic" is the Oneness of God and the Acts 2:38 experience. When it comes to holiness, emphasize modesty without extremes of fashion or style, and teach a holiness based on the Ten Commandments. That's my angle.

God bless.
