So if I was a member of a church that had "Platform Rules" or "Leadership Requirements" that were presented as such and only as such, then it negates all of the stupidity of adding to the Bible to legitimize someone's preference.
Eve was deceived once she added to the word of God. She would have been fine just leaving God's word the way it was, without adding her emphasis as God's Word.
