I agree with the thought I've seen expressed on this forum before, that there is a difference between praise and worship.

I have witnessed song leaders or pastors try to "work people" into a frenzy.

I've seen folks run the backs off the pews, miss a turn and run thru a sheetrock wall.

I saw two brothers running different directions and meet headfirst, resulting in a huge goose egg and a concussion.

I AM NOT a fan of "ShockaMoo" I've "been there done that" and repented of it.

So much of what we call praise in some of our churches are nothing more than displays of the flesh, saying, "woooohoooo look at me, I really got it."

Sorry, as I know some will be offended by my remarks, but shouting and doing pentecostal two step, is used to much as a gage of someones spiritual condition and that is so sad.
I used to be a worship leader that tried to lead people into a frenzy. But I did do it as well as ask people to do it. I don't think that is nearly so important anymore though.
