Is that not a bit naive? The entire purpose of such an organization is to provide professional standards of accountability, and maintain financial transparency.

The ECFA Membership elect the Board of Directors, who in turn oversee the staff and standards committee, who in turn review and monitor the membership. I am sure it's not perfect - but the safety net is greatly enhanced by the direct involvement of the membership and their pledge to transparency if audited.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths

Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
