We have a coleman camp stove and a gas grill for cooking. We also have a couple of dutch ovens and other things that can be used for cooking on an open fire.

I lost count of how many two liter bottles I have filled with water. We also have a pool that would become an emergency water source if needed.

You would also need foods that didn't require refrigeration. Things like TVP, dehydrated butter, etc can be purchased www.emergencyessentials.com

I'll post my list of emergency supplies later. I am needing to get ready to take the kids to youth camp to check in at 9am.
Wind up flashlight sounds interesting, did you get that at a camping store? Maybe I need to visit one soon. We are in hurricane season and last year we were without electricity for a good while. We do have a generator but you can't run it 24/7.
