Lighting is an area I think you would need to address. Candles can get expensive if you need them for a long period of time. I think the oil lamps are a more ecomonical way and gives better light. My husband and I are arguing over the buring of either of these are he believes they smoke up the ceiling, and I am talking little candles, here.
If you have gas then you can still cook, if not then yes you would need a grill with lots of charcoal/wood.
If you are like me and are on a well, no electricity means no water.

Well, ideally, you get a windmill and solar panels and make your own electricity and SELL what you don't use to the electric comapany.
