She's probably pretty glad her mom is a worrier and is trying to make sure she has everything she will need for a couple of weeks... she hasn't collected her financial aid leftovers from the school yet after they take tuition/fees...
I know she doesn't want to have to spend all her money the first night on stuff she forgot to get from home. LOL
