I am not going to fault you for sticking to the party line. It is a synthetic and cultural conclusion to make that if one desires to live holy, then standards are the fruit.

Can you clarify exactly what the "line of standards..." is, then we can compare what we believe is holiness.

Actually, you disagree with both of us, seems like.
I believe in holiness, a supernatural and abstract disposition that cannot be achieved by physical means unto one's self.

1Peter 1:15-16 is a commandment for holiness in all areas of conversation. This means that our standards (how we dress, where we go, and what we do) is included in this. As a believer in Jesus Christ, I see it absolutely impossible for a man to be holy on the inside and watch the lies and filth on TV. It is impossible for a woman to have a good attitude and still dress like a man or as if she has no morals. It is impossible for a person to claim modestyand wear jewelry that costs hundreds or thousands of dollars just for appearances.
There is a fine line here, but you are defining holiness through your interpretation of standards. There is absolutely NO biblical correlation between what you call standards in terms of dress that you can tie to holiness relative to the commandment of almighty God.

Again, you hold the party line and you can't be faulted for that, but I do fault you for condemning folks based on your interpretation (notice I did not say your misguided interpretation, you can interpret the man in the moon being the Apostle Paul if you want, just don't condemn me for not agreeing with you)
