I worry that some of you can't break down a simple verse like this but are entrusted with a flock of God's people.
1. The context deals with believing that
there is ONE GOD.
" Thou believest that
there is one God;"
2. Devils, or demons, and Satan, himself, have been privy to this commonly accepted theological fact having once resided in Glory. Heck, Trinitarians believe this to the despair of Randy's ilk!
3. Somehow the knowledge that God
is .... equates to the scores of Scripture (200 plus regarding faith and 120 plus dealing with faithfulness) that deal with biblical faith .... relying/trusting/believing on God
for salvation.
Once again, the dishonesty of the salvation by works crowd is rueful.
