It doesn't need to be a UPCI seminar or conference... I'm not UPC either, so as long as they'll let me come no matter my affiliation or lack thereof I'd probably be fine with it. I'd just like the experience. I am not certified but hope to certify by this fall if I can get enough interaction with others who sign and additional experience. I even saw a YouTube about Deaf Day at Disney, and thought something like that would be fun if it were a little closer to home.
