We don't use physical violence because are fighting a
spiritual warfare.
Ephesians 6:11-13
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
John 18:36
Jesus answered, My kingdom is
not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
The Bible tells us what to watch for so the end times will not take us by surprise.
1 Thessalonians 5:3,4
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Matthew 16:3
...can ye not discern the signs of the times?
Matthew 24:3
