I personally think you are seeing "race" as an issue where it doesn't really exist. Maybe you are right in some of your examples you cited but I doubt if you are right in all of them.
The man is not liked, and is perceived as very arrogant and completely out of touch with the desires of the majority of Americans. His campaign pledge for transparency and subsequent action has made him a laughing stock. His winning of the Nobel prize was a joke. His apologies for the U.S. have angered many. And his blaming of everything on Dubya is considered childish and irresponsible.
