The mindset of the "have nots" is to get more of the pie from the "haves". The mindset of the "haves" is to protect what they have.
The "have nots" favor socialism as an equalizer.
The "haves" favor capitalism and hard work because that how most of them achieved their fortune. Those that inherited wealth want to keep things the same as they are so they can keep their wealth.
JD, you may never see things from the other sides point of view because perception is reality. There are perceptions that I have about things that I can't shake because they have become part of my DNA. We are all that way.
Some blacks may think that rich or well off whites are racist until proven innocent, just as some whites think poor blacks are racist until proven innocent. The cycle never ends.
You know the interesting thing I have perceived? The most racist people I have known are poor whites and wealthy blacks! Go figure that one out!
