On the subject of the history of the NT canon, you make a great point about 2 Peter. This was one of the books that was held suspect in many parts of early Christendom.
My statements concerning "what is Scripture" generally follow the traditional or most ecumenically accepted canon. Of course within that context, there is
a lot of history and debate; one can't qualify every statement. Everything I say here is just "IMHO" and spoken in generalities unless otherwise qualified.
