I kind of liken this as to what happens to so many with a UPC upbringing. They drift away from the teachings of the church. Get a little further and a little further and in time you can not see any of the former things in their life. They are so far out there, they are no longer reachable and can not understand what the problem is nor when it started. It is really sad.
