Agreed.

He was the perfect man only because He walked "in the Spirit". Tempted like we are means the potential was always there.
I believe that Jesus understood (hey, He authored it!) every OT verse that prophesied of his humanity and perfection. He knew He was
destined (my word) for perfection, but had the same struggle against the lusts of the flesh that we struggle with. His humanity was not above the weakness of temptation.
So prophetically, He could not have sinned.
