Here are is what I found interesting, if your up for real discussion.

He proclaims to be a christian, but did you notice how he refers to it more often as just being a "guide" so to speak ?

Achieving salvation through the grace of God, is the best he has here, which is good. The rest seems to say he follows the examples of Jesus. In other words, not as the Son of God , but as a role model. The same could be said of Ghandi or your local school teacher. Many religions that do not believe Jesus was the Son of God still hold him up as a respected "teacher/role model" . Just seems like he broad brushed the topic to please everyone. But then again, thats his job, so its to be expected.

He professed that he is a follower of Jesus Christ, a Christian. Tell me, do you grill every person you come in contact with concerning their Christianity? When you go to a church service where someone is preaching, do you interview them first to make sure they have and understand the process of salvation? When you went on/go on dates, do you have the girl fill out forms to make sure she's really saved?

These are rhetorical questions, of course, so I wonder why so many of you are unable to accept Obama's profession as it stands? Did he or has he recited perfectly, for your approval, the precise plan of salvation and his theological and doctrinal understanding of the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ?

Of course he hasn't. Neither has any other president in the history of the United States.

So just take him for what he says.....unless you hate his politics, of course.
