They most likely skipped the section where Parham was arrested for being accused for homosexuality with young men and was pulled over for drunk driving.. and from that he was radioactive to the oneness brothers and died in disgrace until he got re-sainted after his death, right? Or how the split happened with the AOG, right? Or how the PAW is 99% black now because the white brothers wouldn't cross the KKK in the early days by having multi-racial conferences below the Dixie line, right?
Im sure all that was covered in detail along with the doctrinal evolutions that became the mainline of UPCI doctrine from the early trinitarian campmeetings to what it is today.
I have no problem with having a play... but our history is rife with issues that need to be dealt with and not sugar coated or rewritten... and we are less than 150 years old.
