Or so we thought! This was in the Assemblies of God, and in the sixties, so maybe that explains it. They didn't have the technology back then to know how evil it all was.
It seems that years ago churches had Halloween or Harvest parties with costumes and so forth and nothing was thought of it. There have always been some churches who were against Christmas, Easter, and Halloween because of their pagan origins but it seems like for the past 20 years or so there has been anti-Halloween move in many more churches.
