When I was baptized the preacher did it in the name of Jesus Christ, when my wife was baptized the preacher did it in the name of Jesus Christ, when my oldest son was baptized I did it in the name of Jesus Christ, when my second son was baptized, the preacher did it in the name of Jesus Christ, when my daughter was baptized the preacher did it in the name of Jesus Christ, when my youngest son was baptized the preacher did it in the name of Jesus Christ.

But before any of us were baptized each had "...CALLED ON THE NAME OF THE LORD IN REPENTANCE AND IN FAITH ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS OF OUR SINS", according to the scriptures. No where in scripture are the exact words of the preacher defined, nor given as a requirement for salvation, RATHER IT IS IN WHOM THE BAPTIZEE HAS BELIEVED.

If a person has called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, then is baptized as a result of faith in the name of Jesus, they have thus been baptized into Jesus Name. If the exact words of the baptizer ARE as critical as you define them, why does not the scripture clearly say, "these words must be spoken over a person by the preacher in order for their faith to become effective"?
