Jesus was full of the Holy Ghost. He didn’t have to wait for the day of Pentecost. You’re right that we are the temple. But He may have been more upset with His people being defrauded by the priests than the fact that it was being done in the temple.

On the subject of pacifism, it was expected of a man in Bible times that he protect his house and family. It wasn’t questioned whether or not he would.

Luke.12

[39] And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

Sometimes loving your enemies means you correct them. It’s called tough love.

Heb.12

[6] For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
[7] If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

Just because you love your enemies, doesn’t mean you let them misuse you. Sometimes you just gotta apply the board of correction to the seat of understanding. I mean it in a purely Christian and most spiritual way . . .

Of course.
