I'm excited because he is one of my favorite all-time preachers. He was with us in October and he is coming back in a few weeks (March 15). He's doing a leadership training on the 14. I don't get too excited about too many preachers, but I have always admired Rev. Jones. To this day, I could probably preach every sermon that I've ever heard him preach in person.

I don't know him personally, but I've always heard good things about him. I know my brother speaks highly of him.
When I was 15 I dated his sister for a week while he was the evangelist at our church. Does that count as being a fan? LOL

Jerry's speaking style, when recorded on magnetic tape, gave me a vivid introduction to a preacher's breathing and the quintessential "and-da" that became such a familiar sound through the years.
