ADMIN Announcement (Renda and Timmy)

.....not about AFF Admin, about another forum.

First, it's been a LONG time since I've been here. Second, I've started a Facebook group/forum, that is an excellent place of dialogue and the exchange of thoughts and ideas, and to date, it's been 100% uncensored.

Third, I want to thank AFF because you've provided me with two of my excellent Admin staff, and that is, RGCraig and Timmy. Actually, there are a couple of others that are from here but I can't remember their ID's and don't want to reveal their real name, since ya'll like to play the secrecy game here.

Last, I'm not here looking for members. Ya'll are mostly WAY too conservative and you'd be offended by the language.

Nope, no link. It would be unethical to promote another forum, on this forum. As much as I don't like AFF in its current state, I do have ethics.

But I'll pass that message along to Timmy.

hmm, i don't know, i've had some quite interesting light shed on angels reproducing, and a few other concepts, the last couple of weeks. Slow day, perhaps; but i am more and more convicted that people find what they seek, so perhaps the current threads are irrelevant to your point.

No, I just looked and there are two people logged on. Back in the day, it wouldn't be that bad at 3am.

I will be glad to tell you what happened. A few classless liberals did not respect the conservatives enough to not ridicule them or mock them so the conservatives left for the most part. For a few years AFF and its predecessors did an amazing thing by providing dialogue between some very diverse views within Pentecost. That only worked as long as discussions could be done in an adult and christian manner.

Good luck with your FB page and God Bless.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Hmmm.....so it's them-ere libruls fault, huh? From what I saw, them'ere right-wingers had no answers for the opposition and they ran. That's exactly what I saw.

And good luck with your forum.

They didn't feel like engaging in a peeing contest with a skunk, not that they didn't have an answer. Sometimes it's better to leave the swine to wallow in the mud by themselves.

I was wondering where Timmy ran off to.

Your post here is exactly what I am talking about. Why not just acknowledge that there are very different positions being held without ridiculing those who hold the position that you don't? This attempt to demean them at every turn is what destroyed the dynamic of this forum and made it a shell of what it was.
