I just realised...
... that I am not here to correct anyone's errors or make sure anyone believes the truth. What a relief.
All I have to do is be a witness for the truth wherever I go, whether in person or "on line". What others do with it is their business, not mine.
It's a great relief to know that I am not responsible for anyone's beliefs. If a person chooses error, it's on them, not me. I don't even need to argue or debate about it, because of this:
God sanctifies his people by his truth, which is His Word.
Therefore, it is the WORD which separates the wheat from the chaff.
Therefore, all I have to do is be a witness to the Word, and those whom God ordains to be saved will be drawn by the Word to God. Those who argue against the Word and persist in whatever delusions they have are simply not ordained to eternal life because they don't love the TRUTH (the Word). No amount of oratorical eloquence or flattery on my part can change that.
Hence, there is no need to go round and round with anyone. Answer questions from the sincere? Yes. Respond to error so that others who are actually seeking truth can see error exposed and truth exalted? Yes. Wring my hands and fret because "someone just won't get it"? Nope, not at all.

That booklet on prophecy is still forthcoming, I got caught up in something else here in real life the last couple of days, but I'm back on it.

I am looking forward to comparing what you say about the Sabbath's role in understanding Eschatology to what Blume has written. I imagine there must be a lot that you both agree on.

Along these lines I had a pastor who said something that has stuck with me for many years. He said that we are called to be witnesses not judges.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: I just realised...
If our light is hid, it is hid from those who need it most.
Even within the Body of Christ, there is the RESPONSIBILITY to shine a light and at least present the light of, "a better way".
Of course you cannot make any human do anything.

By some chance...was that anything similar to the being caught up in 1 Thess. 4:17, or maybe Philip's being caught up in Acts 8:39?
