Of tithes and farthings
I don’t give “tithes,” but rather offerings a minimum of 10%. 
Anyway.... my friend and I are facing a conundrum. We want to send our offerings back home. But, we don’t feel right attending a church without offerings monetary support while we have the means.
Please carefully contemplate before sharing your ruminated cogitation. Or is it ruminated contemplated cerebration.

I agree with the other users, better to support the local assembly you are going to. Your previous pastor would probably tell you so.

Did you transfer membership? Is the pastor in Arkansas now your pastor? If I were working out of town and attending a church temporarily, I would send my tithe back home and give a bit of offering to the church I was a guest at.
