Praise dancers?
I received a report from a UPC in Louisiana yesterday.
Praise dancers doing choreographed dancing 'worship'? Is this now becoming common among UPCs these days?

That must be a mistake, there is no such thing as praise dancers in the United Pentecostal International.

Never heard of such. A lot of church's have been doing sign teams that put on a presentations for a while now (which I personally don't like). Maybe that is what you are thinking about.

This was a UPC, it was last night and was a "youth service". Included folks in black choir robes doing a funky chicken to praise music. They were called the "Praise Team". The person who went was a bit embarrassed, said "some of their dance moves... well, I just don't know about that."
Also said "I heard the UPC was raising the hemline but I didn't realize how true that was until last night."
