I don't request prayer for myself unless I'm desperate, and that's where I am right now.
Most of you know that I had gastric bypass surgery last year. I've had no complications, even the common effects one can suffer, and I've been lucky in that respect.
However, tonight my son made deer roast by himself. He didn't do it as I'd instructed, but it was eatable.
Meat is difficult for me to eat, as I have to chew it really well before swallowing or it will get stuck. Well, that's what I think is the problem tonight.
For the last two hours, I've been in a lot of pain and needing to vomit. I won't go into further detail, but I've not been able to make myself, nor has it done so on it's own.
I can feel that the food is stuck in my esophagus and it's quite painful. I keep having episodes where I think I might achieve relief, but it's not happening and the feeling comes and goes.
This happened only one other time (about a year ago), and I was in pain for 12 hours. I don't need that to happen again this time.
Anyway, I'm going to try and head to bed in a few minutes after this feeling subsides a little more. Thanks to everyone.

As with Subby, I just now saw this. I fully understand your pain, girl...hope you're feeling better this morning and am praying.
Thanks to everyone. I was up until about 3am trying to work it out, but it finally passed, and everything is fine now. Sometimes I tend to forget to chew everything so well, but with other foods, it doesn't get as intense with pain or problems like it will with meat.
Lesson learned! But again, thanks to all who prayed for me.
