Smile Three and One Half Hours of Glory

How do I say it? I just got home from Church (albeit I did go find a place to eat on the way) and have to tell my friends on AFF that I've just been in what may well be the most incredible service I've ever been in.

Our Church has been on a 'high' for a while and God just seems to 'show up' anytime we get together. Tonight was more than just amazing... it was glorious!

As usual I had studied all day for the evening service. However, on the opening song God began to move around the sanctuary. That was followed by the chorale, which was followed by... well... some kind of supernatural explosion! The people worshiped and danced for about 20 minutes solid and then - BOOM - the Gifts of the Spirit rushed in. After tongues and interpretation I sent the entire congregation to it's knees.

What happened next is just hard to describe. First there was intercession, then we stood them up to move on when another wave of glory hit the place and people were falling out sporatically throughout the building slain in the Spirit like I haven't seen in years. One very timid young girl was laid out on the floor singing in tongues... perhaps the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

At one point there was 25 or so on the floor 'slain' in the Spirit. Over half of them were young people. Suddenly the girl singing in tongues (an unbelievably timid young lady) broke forth LOUD in English singing 'Amazing Grace'... what an incredibly pristine voice! Simply beautiful beyond words!

When she stopped it was like a 'holy hush' that lasted about 15 seconds and a spiritual time bomb was set off in the Temple - people started receiving the Holy Ghost all over the house without one person around them!

Not sure how many got the Holy Ghost but there were three in the first 15 minutes of service... By the end of the service the people were up in all the pews praying with anything breathing. I sincerely have no idea how many got the Holy Ghost before the night was over.

I do know that there were still several out on the floor when I finally went to my office to change clothes. To my amazement this had gone on solid for over three and one half hours!

What an amazing service; what an amazing God!

There is nothing that can compare to the presence of the Lord! It's joy unspeakable and full of glory. Thank you for this wonderful testimony! It brought me to my knees.
