Fender Bending: Is it Wrong?

What scriptures do you use to teach against fender bending?

No, by all means, bend that Les Paul.

No, it was '52 and now it has dearly departed from us there is nothing that will make the same sound as that thing!

They don't bend too much before they break. Fortunately a broken '52 Gibson Les Pauls still sells for over 4K. Bad decision in retrospect.

Well, if you can't have a old broken one, have a new playable one...Guitar Center has a few special editions.
