There are so many SPIRITUAL people on this site and they know so much, but why do they gossip about other churches, people, Pastors, and ministries. they think they know so much but in fact the bible states that the tongue can destroy that also lets me know that if it can destroy than it can build up people too. but people on this site don't build people up they tear them down. God hates a gossip so quit doing it

Well I've been on this site a little while. Though some of the stuff that people post is heated, most of the stuff is not anything that tears down.

In fact, I've been encouraged since finding this site.

When I do read stuff that destroys, unless it's something completely off the wall, I just leave it alone. Too many threads with to many sincere folk.

Welcome to AFF! As you become a liitle more familair with this forum, you'll find that its not all about gossip. Yes, there is some, probably too much, but, you'll also find AFF has a lot of postive things about it. There are some really good people here who love God and each other. And, yes, there are a few bad apples, but the whole barrel isn't as rotten as you might think. I come here for the fellowship- and, believe me, I have met some great folks here. When I needed someone the most, the members of this forum rallied to my side in a way I found to be absolutely Christian. So, while you may find things you don't like, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

What do I do about the things I don't like? I ignore them. I don't care for the gossip- and the divisions and the debating. So... I simply stay out of those conversations. I do what I can to make this board what it was intended to be. Because I care about the people. An open forum like this is diverse- lots of different veiws and opinions being expressed. Its inevitable that disagreements will arise. But even in the midst of a disagreement its not how right or wrong a person is that matters, its how they conduct themselves. I suggest you look through the threads and find the "wheat". Leave the chaff for the wind to blow away. Focus on the good... not on the bad.

AMEN! Got Jesus? There are many good people here on AFF so please ignore the things you see that aren't exactly right. This forum, like our churches, are filled with imperfect people. Pray for those you think are gossiping [they just might be], and pray for those of us who lose our temper every now and again [I'm one of them], and find a mentor on here that you can ask about something before you post because there is a flow to this sight and if you are new - you have to learn the different people and personalities.

Welcome aboard! Join us for fellowship. One good thing about this sight...there is no eating! We do talk about it though and swap recipes.
