Are they the same thing?

Is the judgement seat of Christ in Romans 14:10 and 2Cor 5:10 the same thing as the white throne judgement in Rev 22?

It is my opinion that the judgment spoken of in Romans 14:10 and 2 Corinthians 5:10 is also referenced in 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 and happens after the rapture. Believers are judged and rewarded based on how well they have used the gifts, talents, and opportunities they received in life. This is not a judgment to see if they should be in Heaven but rather what rewards they are to receive. It is like an awards dinner for graduates. They are not judged to see if they should graduate or not, that is already settled, instead they are given different awards. In my opinion the first resurrection of Revelation 20:4-6 is made up of Jesus the Firstfruits and those who rose with Him (Matthew 27:50-52); then those in the rapture (1 Thess 4:13-18, Revelation 4:1-11); then those who have been martyrs or who died during the tribulation (Rev. 6:9-11 and 7:9-17) prior to the millennium. A thousand years later all the rest of humanity who have ever lived will be resurrected in the second resurrection and stand before the Great White Throne. In my opinion this is spoken of in Matthew 25:31-46 and Revelation 20:7-15). They will be judged by their works and whoever was not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire and those who were found in the book of life will enter eternal reward with Jesus.

A breakdown of this can be found in the book by the late Bishop G.T. Haywood about the Resurrection. A copy of his book is attached as a pdf file.

Yes, I believe they are. For us, the white throne will not determine hell or heaven. Heaven is settled for us so long as we keep the faith. But the works we will be judged by, since reference to the white throne judgment in Rev 20 mentions people being judged for their works, are to determine our rewards. For the sinner it shows their hellbound doom.

I say this because I believe the rapture takes us directly to the white throne judgment, since the millennium is an expression concerning the church age. No one taught millennium in the gospels and epistles, so I reject it as an independently stated doctrine in Revelation which is a book of symbols. Logic of faith tells me God would not do that in Revelation. Revelation can only mirror what was already taught in the rest of the New testament in plain teaching.

This means sinner and saint will resurrect to the white throne.
John 5:29 KJV And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Acts 24:15 KJV And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
This is, I believe, why we are caught up into the air. That is where every one who ever lived will be judged at the the white throne.
