I didn't know this was going to be in there.
I never would have thought in a million years that #1, I'd be doing triathlons, #2 I'd be competing in an Ironman, & #3 That it would open doors such as it has to make a difference.
I am convinced that if we would take God seriously and invite Him into every facet of our lives, that we could expect Him to move in places other than at our church altars! I believe He'll show up where He is expected for the most part.
I'm all for great church services and moves of God, but don't you think that He gets tired sometimes of giving light in the smallest of places? Whatever happened to taking the light into the darkness? Are we fearful that the darkness will snuff out our light? Do we think the "Debil" is too big and bad? Are we fearful of getting ourselves "dirty?"
No one has to do what I do or get involved in things such as I do, but are you getting involved in SOMETHING other than "church" activities all the time? Are we spending all or the biggest part of out time getting the "darkness" to come to the Light? How about getting prayed up, trusting in the Almighty and taking the Light into the midst of the darkness and watch what happens?
I'm truly sorry if anyone thinks I'm boasting here...I certainly am not. I AM stating that He is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever and that He will do far more for and through you than He does for me if you will simply give Him the invitation and be the child of God He is making you wherever you go. I think you'll be astounded. I challenge you, not arrogantly but sincerely..."it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom!"
