Prayer Request
Hello friends,
I have had instant healing from God in the past and I say "Praise God for His love and mercy!"
Currently, I have been sick and not received the healing I desired. In his will all things shall be so I understand that this may be a trial in order to bring me in contact with others so that I can share His Glory through my testimony.
Recently, I was quite sure that I was having an attack of appendicitis and my husband rushed me to the ER. Thankfully it was not appendicitis and no surgery was required. However, they did discover a mass in my right side that was not connected to anything internally and showed no blood flow. It measured 4 cm across and was confirmed by ultrasound and CT scan. I had been suffering from bouts of violent vomiting for several days and their thought was I had dislodged it from its place and that was what was causing the pain. After four days I was released.
I spent the next four days sick in bed. The fourth morning, I woke up with extreme sweating, vomiting, a fever and difficulty breathing. I truly thought the Lord was calling me home and I called his name to take me.
Back at the hospital, the doctors conducted another ultrasound which showed debris in the area and both ultrasound and CT scan confirmed that there was no mass. They said it had never been there at all, but couldn't understand why my vital signs across the board were very concerning.
It took the fifth doctor to recognize that the cystic mass had burst and had spread its infection into other organs and my bloodstream. Four more days in the hospital.
I do realize that while in the hospital, the Lord was using me to bless others. With each little bit of progress, I would proclaim "Praise the Lord!" or "Hallelujah!" Some of the nurses I said these things to immediately understood, but to some it gave them the "deer in headlights" expression. Even the words "God Bless You" were met with differing reactions. I feel the seed that was planted in my side was planted so that I could plant other seeds. Even my assigned doctor was taken aback.
Back at home, I was beginning to feel better. With a weakened immune system from what I had just come through, I caught a cold. This was no minor cold and I had a fever for 10 straight days.
The effects of the cold have greatly subsided and my fever is gone. My prayer request is about healing the rest and cleaning out my system from 8 days on 3 IV antibiotics and a prescription, as well. I am weak and very dizzy. My motor skills are not back where they should be. My mental abilities are not quite back in line apparently, because I have had to correct transposed letters throughout this post.
Please do not pray for the illness I am feeling. Please pray for a soon to come victory over the war within my body.
