This post and thread is a "little carnal" as I am headed off to "Hats off day on the heights" in North Burnaby.
They close down Hastings Street which is a major artery for traffic from downtown Vancouver and goes to the suburbs.
It will be closed down from 9-2 pm totally for about 12-15 blocks.
There is a parade and a after the parade the people take over the streets with
stores having sales, giveaways, ballons, food, food,food!
We usually go every year. We have handed out thousands of tracts as well.
