I noticed. What you said earlier I agreed with, but I was wondering why you would say that in relation to the one I posted?

Re: Postmodernism's Place in the Church

It's what I get for using my phone to view a site definitely not meant for phones.

http://stuffapostolicslike.blogspot....jesus.html?m=1

That's the one it took me to.

OK now after reading it... it is definitely something I have thought about before. Very interesting reading. I don't exactly know how to respond to it....

Another example of humanistic antichristian propaganda chipping away at the faith and controlling people's thinking. AKA brainwashing.

People always want to jump on the latest fad and seem to always forget the old story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.

I think Mr. Riley (the author) was just being honest about the flaws he's found in our movement. Also, what's the pied piper got to do with this? That story was just about not ripping people off.

The article contains a huge number of presuppositions. Presuppositions are those beliefs people have which influence how they view things. The author views things through a particular paradigm, or "worldview", which consists of his presuppositions. That worldview is what he uses to interpret the meaning and significance of his experiences, and his understanding of others' experiences as well.

Everyone has a worldview, everyone has presuppositions. God wants us to have a Biblical worldview, he wants us to see thinks as they are. But " the world" also wants us to see things with it's worldviews instead.

Humanism is a worldview. Postmodernism is a humanistic worldview. The author admits he is a postmodern. Read the article carefully. Postmodernism is all about skepticism, doubting everything. It is not about questioning and proving things, it's about not believing anything EXCEPT universal skepticism and humanism.

It was created, intentionally, as a form of "psycho politics", which is " the achieving of political goals through the use of psychological manipulation." By introducing and promoting skepticism of everything, including and especially directed against the Bible and the biblical worldview, it is a tool for humanists to degrade people's values and convictions. The goal is to "transform society" by slowly changing how people think, not just "what" they think but HOW they think.

Postmodernism is marketed as a trendy, hip, up-to-date advanced viewpoint, a new "independent thinking" that is anything BUT independent.

The author's blog is designed to lead YOU away from a biblical worldview, to make you a casualty in the ongoing ideological war between antichrist humanism and the Truth. The Pied Piper played sweet, ear-catching music that attracted the attention of Hamelin's children, and led them all away (kidnapped). The blog is called "stuff apostolics like", in order to deceive apostolics into thinking this will be a cool apostolic blog. It's deceptive. It ought to be called " luring apostolics into doubt and dismay and pessimism" because that is what it is actually all about.

The main ideas in any of it's articles are irrelevant. That's just bait to get you to bite. The REAL stuff is the subtle background ideas and choice of words, the cheesy attempts at "innocent humor", the overall controlling worldview which is almost subliminal in the posts AND THE COMMENTS.

" Prove all things", that means analyze, test, everything. "Hold fast that which is good." That means keep what is BIBLICAL and reject the rest.
