This Will Seem Very Monotonous To Some...

BUT

Around 8:23, the praise leader lays the foundation for an awesome move of God (11:40 and forward...)

He declares, "You can overcome! You can overcome!" It was a powerful moment!

Then there is 17:30 until the end!

GREAT!

I believe it was around midnight when Paul and Silas began to praise the Lord and He broke their bonds, led a man to salvation, and eventually their freedom was secured!

Re: This Will Seem Very Monotonous To Some...

It was in moments like these, in NC, in AL, and in FL where I would forget my struggle (was struggling REAL HARD in those days) but when I praised and worshipped the Lord, in those moments, time stood still and satan could not heap enough condemnation on me to stifle my praise and worship!

There was one Sunday night I remember thinking, "God, I am not sure what will happen when I leave Your House during this week. But I have right now and I will praise You in the congregation, with all that is within me!"

I stepped out and I worshipped my God and Savior all by myself in a shout and dance at the altar, there were tears of joy and I never got tired or sore or hoarse in those moments-- that came afterwards, but only sometimes.

Others would soon join, most of the time.

I remember those days so fondly, so well.

Re: This Will Seem Very Monotonous To Some...

But it is night time now.

I am not in a church service. There isn't another Hallelujah from someone else in earshot. No one is dancing in this place.

There are several battles going on but, "the Lord our God is strong to save from the arms of death, from the deepest grave!"

Some of my most precious moments with the Lord have come in the middle of my night.

I love You Jesus! I love You and I know You love me-- but in this moment, God I need to tell You. I need to tell You. Oh GOD how I love You for all You have done for me! For every battle You have brought me through. Out of every dangerous situation You have kept me, You have delivered me. You always look out for me and when I could have died, You protected my life. I am here for this moment and this life is only but for a moment but let my moment be spent with You, in loneliness You bring friendship. This night will pass too soon and I am afraid that the day will come and ruin the solitude of this night. This moment, don't let this night end. This night will end and maybe this prayer is vainand maybe You know what I am really trying to say when I ask please Jesus, don't let this night end.

Re: This Will Seem Very Monotonous To Some...

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.

Re: This Will Seem Very Monotonous To Some...

KJV - Psalms 34

A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
