Who I am
I once was NobodyImportant, but now feel it is very important for me to be open with my name.
So, I am now to be known as my real self- RevDooley.
After much consideration, I decided that I do not need to hide behind a nic. I want my feelings known, even if they are from someone as unimportant as I.
Seriously, I want to be just plain old me for anyone who may care.
God bless and let's continue our discourse.
Incidentally, I am still extremely conservative. That has not and will not change. I feel it is the right direction for all children of God.

Rev Dooley,
Tell me about yourself.
Are you UPCI or from another organization.
I was UPCI for 43 years. I am 43 years old and PK.
What in your doctrinal positions would merit you as a conservative?
Most look to their view on Holiness standards to rate their position.
Since I do not know who you are it would be good to know the you...

Not any more. I have relinquished my license for personal reasons.

Conservative- separation from worldly lifestyle. I do believe in walking as close to God as possible. To do so requires that I also walk as far from the worldliness that surrounds all of us as is possible. Holiness is a choice.

Standards don't rate my position, ie.: sleeve length, hair, yada yada yada. Those are mere outcroppings of what goes on inside of me.
Since I do not know who you are it would be good to know the you...

Maybe all of the above will help.
Before I am labeled as one who lives in the "can't do" mentality. Please understand that I don't focus on those things that I refuse to do. I focus on those things that are good and wholesome. Things that when I do them, I have no fear that God will look at them and wonder if I truly want to live for Him.

Good to now know you. I am also former UPCI. Not as a licensed minister. I am a PK and have ministered over the years...
Good to have you posting...
I am sure we will agree and disagree...
God Bless

Hey Rev., I thought I recognized that posting style.
Conservatives are very welcome on this forum - and we will consider ourselves Dooley warned!
