Commode Huggin' Blues

I've recorded quite a bit of Country Gospel Music over the past few years, as Country Music is what I sang prior to my salvation and deliverance. However, one song that I recorded on my last CD, which was a few years back is called The Commode Huggin' Blues. For what it's worth, you can take a listen by clicking below and give your honest opinion in the poll. It's the first song on the music player on the page.

AG,

I really enjoyed the song. My take is that it would be appropriate in church in the right kind of service and with the proper introduction.

I don't think it is a song you want to just plug into the middle of a regular service with no introduction and setup!

Re: Commode Huggin' Blues

I think you should pitch the song to a country music artist. It makes a good country music song.

As far as singing it in church, I'll go along with what CC1 said.

In all honesty, I pastor a church in South Mississippi and I have never utilized it in my own church. I can't say that I never will, but not as of yet.

I used to go into High Schools and share my testimony of deliverance from addiction and alcoholism and I'd use that song. The young people loved it.
