Unbelievable - new form of tattoo
Ok, so I'm sitting here cooling off after mowing the grass, and I'm watching the History of Tattoos on The History Channel.
The newest form of tattooing is "Eyeball Tatooing"!
What will they think of next?????????????

If I understand it correctly, it is the Vitreous Humour that is tattooed with a laser.
That is the white stuff.
I hate tattoos.

They actually tattoo the eyeball - with a needle!
One guy had black dots tatooed into the white of his eye, another guy had the entire whites of his eyes turned blue.
The tattoo artist wouldn't allow the cameras in for the entire procedure, for two reasons - one, it's a trade secret, and two, he doesn't want people trying it on their own.

Nice try, Marky Mark, but I didn't say it was a sin.
I just can't imagine subjecting myself to that kind of pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we've obviously been given instruction to snip a few things here and there... so he must have forgot something!

Maybe their eyeballs didn't quite offend them enough to warrant plucking them out, but they felt that something had to be done to establish a greater degree of holiness in their lives. So they just stabbed needles into their eyeballs.
It's really more of a compromise than being a totally unscriptural practice. I think most sincere believers would just get a spoon and be done with the eyeball entirely if it caused offense.
