P.A. of W. ?????
Visted Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Chattanooga, TN this morning....really great service!
Was looking online this afternoon at the official PAW website. They have released an Apostolic Manifesto....and the comment "in light of recent events" was used in the reasoning and it seems like it's a response to something that has transpired...
Does anyone know what recent events have went on to shake things up?
Just curious.

They did have this Manifesto. It was held at Bishop Noel Jones' church in Los Angeles back in June conducted by Bishop Horace Smith.
I read part of the manifesto. I can't remember anything it said word for word but in essence, IMO, Smith clearly implied that PAW was dying as an organization that it was time to have a serious discussion.
Many of the liberal PAW leaders feel like the organization needs to rid itself of traditionalism while the old timers want to go back to the old time way.

For anyone interested, the manifesto is online here:

"The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. is at a critical moment in its history, literally a
‘cross-roads,’ where its very viability and credibility is threatened. The vibrant legacy and
history of the PAW, Inc. demands that a comprehensive, in-depth effort be made to analyze,
delineate, and rehabilitate the organization. The reason for such a radical course is that the
problems that presently exist are systemic, entrenched and are directly contributing to
destabilizing the organization at best and is killing the organization at worst."
Interesting, to say the least.
