The Evangelical Esquire

My heart is still in a starting full-time teaching ministry but after several requests from friends I have renewed my law license and will have a small private practice as well.

Also starting this Saturday for any who may live in the greater Houston area, I will be having a regular 5 minute segment called "The Evangelical Esquire" on the Mr Buddy and Friends show which is broadcast on the local AFR station 88.3 on Saturdays beginning at 12:15pm.

The topics will focus on areas of the law of particular importance to Christians and Churches. If anyone in the listening area has suggestions for topics they would like to hear please PM me.

Be blessed.

JAG

Re: The Evangelical Esquire

Is there any way you could somehow share your segments on AFF?

Maybe put them on youtube and then bring them here?

The JP crowd isn't that conservative! They will watch videos on youtube without thinking nothing of the hypocrisy of condemning TV.

How about mp3's of the radio recordings?

Re: The Evangelical Esquire

Seriously, it's a prerecorded five minute segment I would be glad to post the essence of each topic if you think anyone would be interested.

I honestly have to say I personally have been treated with nothing but respect by the Admin there. As far as the rank and file, I believe that many are somewhat out of step with even members of their own organization and have an inability to articulate their position in a gentlemanly manner. (Much less actually give an answer for certain traditions within their culture.)

On the other hand I have forged genuine friendships among some of even the most ultra-conservatives there.

Please note I genuinely dislike labels, such as conservative and liberal (even though I sometimes feel of necessity to use them myself in order to communicate.) When posting under my own name I am the same person here, there, or anywhere. Yet while considering myself to be moderate, on some forums I am labeled ultra-con, I am definitely one of the more conservative voices here, and on JP, at least of late I am considered a dangerous liberal.

There are flawed individuals in every group (I know any group I participate in must be flawed because I am) but it is the radical fringe that seems to garner the most attention while most are just people doing the best they can.
