Re: Aim Trip

Never been. Went on YoM once. It was a wonderful experience. Three weeks. Appx $2000 (including airfair). Costs for any type of travel really depend on where you are going, for how long, and with whom.

Re: Aim Trip

If you call up the Foreign Missions Division, they will mail you a packet of available AIM appointments along with budget and job description; at least they did this about five years ago for me.

If it's AYM (or is it YoM?..the short term group trips) you're talking about, that information is available online...can't think of where exactly at the moment. Look around the UPCI site or foreignmissions.com

Re: Aim Trip

Hey how about just contacting a Missionary and doing it cheaper?
I know some where you can go for not a lot of money and they would love for
you to help around the Mission or with Evanglism. We just put together another team
for Mexico. We are also in the next year going to Canada and Nigeria plus a return probably to Mexico. Pray about it. Its not expensive if you are willing to give your time.

I have always, since HS, had a vision for Cameroon-- sometimes the burden has been stronger than others. But I remember the middle of the night in HS when God laid Cameroon on my mind-- this was years before I knew anything about the UPCI.

My church organization from childhood had one foreign mission that I was aware of, in Ghana.
