My Brother Is A Hero
My brother is a hero. He saved a small child from drowning, while he was out in his boat fishing today. Family had no life preservers, and apparently couldn't swim. The child was washed into a culvert, people on the other side could hear the screams of the parents, but did not know why they were screaming.
Thank the Lord he was there.

Re: My Brother Is A Hero
I'm sure that the parents are thanking God today for placing your brother in the right place at the right time with the right skills!!! This is an awesome testimony. Thanks for sharing it, Cindy.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: My Brother Is A Hero
Thanks everyone. My brother had totally changed his routine instead of just fishing from the bank, he decided to take his boat today. Got his line tangled with someone else. After he cut his line free, he looked up just in time to see the child go under. Jumped in and saved her, her name is Anne, just a toddler.
