Why Can't Apostolic's call their Church Baptist?

Apostolic's teach The Baptism of the HG. And Jesus name Baptism.
Why not just be Baptist?
The book of Act's and Romans is full of Baptism teaching.
One Lord, one faith, one Baptism.

Who sya they can't. The fact is they don't.

To do so would be to identify yourself with peoples conception of what a Baptist church is coop.

I think many Baptist denominations are Calvinist. Is that what you want to identify your church with?

I think I have seen a couple of these churches while traveling from Nashville to Camp LeJune to visit my son before. I remember pointing out to my wife church signs that had both "Baptist" and "Pentecostal" in them. I had never seen that before.

But there are nearly as many Baptist denominations as there are Baptists.

Unfortunately. We took all we could stand for 4 years before leaving to a different church. Quite sad after calling that our home church for over 18 years.
