Thought for Easter.. Ahem... PASSOVER

On the tenth day of the first month, Israel CHOSE A LAMB for each house for PASSOVER. The passover lamb would have its blood shed four days later on the 14th, and applied to the doors to indicate where God would PASS OVER to disallow the destroyer to claim a life in the home.

THE SAME DAY 40 years later was when Israel PASSED OVER JORDAN into Canaan. ANOTHER DOOR, but INTO CANAAN.

The people became PASSOVERS, so to speak.

When we identify with Jesus' death, and truly grasp the understanding of our union to Him BY HIS DEATH, we spiritually become PASSOVERS into the KINGDOM power of God. We'll spiritually tear down walled cities and take down giants that stand against us.

I am going to have a time this weekend in church preaching WHEN WE BECOME PASSOVERS and truly identify with Christ's death and ENJOY VICTORY IN LIFE EVERY DAY!

Re: Thought for Easter.. Ahem... PASSOVER

We find the tribes in Canaan were afraid of the Israelites for forty years when Rahab informed the spies about it. Their hearts had melted when the heard Israel crossed the Red Sea and were coming to Canaan.

So Israel was afraid of the giants and walls in Canaan but they did not know the enemy was afraid of them. Israel lost their fear when the doubters 20 0years of age and up had died off, but the enemy never lost their fear. When Israel PASSED OVER Jordan, Josh 5 says the kings were fearful because of the people of God!

We need to LIVE Passover and not just believe about it, and inflict fear in the hearts of the enemy who holds our PROMISES (in the PROMISED land). And take over in the spiritual realm!

I am enjoying Passover week like I never have before!

Reminds me of something the late John Osteen (Joel's Dad) said. "I used to be afraid of the devil until I found out he was afraid of me."

AMEN! I never forgot an old preacher tell us years ago that Gideon heard the enemy soldiers in the tent talk about how one had a dream of a cake rolling down the hill and wiping their armies out. The other responded saying this is Gideon and God's hand using him to wipe them out! The enemy is afraid of us and especially of us learning who Christ is in us and who we are in Christ!
